This heavily textured painting was painted mostly without the use of brushes, just my hands for the subtle blending. An abstract inspired by the majestic canyons of the southwest. Native American art rock called Petroglyphs and Pictographs can be found in the Santa Fe area, as well as many areas in the Four Corners area. Petroglyphs were carved into the stone and Pictographs were painted.

A child of the 70's now "Gigi" to four amazing grandchildren. I'm a lover of COLOR as you will see in my work. I was in my 50's before I first picked up a paint brush (not including paint by numbers kits as a child). Collecting Native American art is a passion of mine.
