Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. How Does Your Garden Grow?

Since my name is Mary and I am a gardener, it seemed only natural that I should do a flower series based on the beloved English nursery rhyme, "Mary, Mary Quite Contrary". I still have people ask me this question and I love reciting the answer. My personal garden is an eclectic cottage style garden, and I was honored to have my potting shed featured on the cover of the 2013 Flea Market Garden magazine.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.
