I love the creative process. As I preparing this canvas with the initial layers of paint, hand applying and hand blending a heart appeared at the top. I set the canvas down for a few days to decide whether to keep the heart or paint over it. As I meditated on how to proceed I dreamt of an angel and then kept seeing heart shapes in little every day things. This is my interpretation of those signs.
When life seems darkest and we feel lost and alone, that's when we are surrounded by angels who care for us. All we need to do is open our hearts to see them reaching out to us with love.
